1. So you want to be a model…

Fantastic! Modelling is a great career to have, as it can be very lucrative and can take you to locations you never dreamed of! As you can appreciate, we get enquiries from all over the world for women wanting to be models, and we want to make sure you fit our criteria before submitting your application.

Firstly, all our models are Authentic and Realistic in size. The majority of our models are size 14+ and we do not take anyone below an Australian size 10.

2. You must be over a Size 10 and be at least 172cm tall.

This is our core requirement. If you do not meet this expectation it is unlikely you will be successful in your application. You can still apply if you are below the height requirement, but only in exceptional circumstances will we take on someone below 172cm.

Our agency has a very high standard of models. We are not an agency that will just take on anyone – we only represent models we know will get work. Because of our experience, we know what clients look for.

3. You must have the following:

  1. Very clear skin
  2. Even, white teeth
  3. A great smile
  4. Open and clear eyes
  5. Healthy and well-cut hair
  6. Good body proportion (your bust should be in proportion to your hips and waist).
  7. Be at least 172cm tall.

4. The Application Process

To submit an application to be a BGM model, click on the image below which will take you to the Apply Now page.

Here you will be asked to fill out some details about yourself as well as upload some photos. If you send us photos and we like what we see, we will contact you to arrange for an interview.

5. Only apply via the website or our Open Call days

Please do not apply to us in any other manner. If you are contacted for an interview, you will be asked to come into our office so we can take some headshots of you and understand why you want to be a BGM model.

It must be noted that this interview process is to be taken very seriously. Please know that in this instance, first impressions do count. We expect you to present in a very professional manner. Your hair should be done, as should your nails. Show us the level of your professionalism.

6. If we decide to take you on board…

You will have to have a portfolio of photographs done with a professional photographer. The shoot, make-up/hair artist and prints can cost up to $1000 which you will have to pay for. This is a requirement because we must have photos of you we can send out to clients.

There are absolutely no guarantees in this industry. Many girls spend a great deal of money having photos done and maintaining themselves in the hope of work. Working in this industry requires a sense of humour, a realistic attitude to the ups and downs of the business and a willingness to deal with the scrutiny!
